The Tru-Pak Difference

Customer satisfaction and community service top our list

Since 1960, we have treated every move as if it was our own, and our returning customers and corporate clients are evidence of that. Sure, we've got moving down to a science, but we like to take "The Tru-Pak Difference" one step further. Our strength is in our experience, longevity and close community ties. Paying it forward through our charitable endeavors and giving is just as important to us as customer satisfaction.

In July 2009, Allyson Siegel (vice president of business development) saved Lilly, the formerly five-legged puppy, from living an inhumane existence in a Coney Island freak show. The overwhelming public support allowed for Lilly's fifth leg to be surgically removed and to continue her ongoing medical treatment. Allyson donates all unused funds to The Animal League of Gaston County in Lilly's name.

On July 24, 2009, Allyson was nominated as WBT's Hometown Hero of the Week because of her efforts to help Lilly live a better life. WBT's Hometown Hero for 2009 will be announced in January 2010.

Allyson also helped found Lucy's Helping Hands, a non-profit organization based in Raleigh, North Carolina, that empowers girls to develop a sense of purpose and self-esteem through service projects and charitable activities.

Every holiday season, Tru-Pak delivers presents collected by SAS, one of the largest software companies in the world, to the Salvation Army of Wake County.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Tru-Pak delivered much-needed supplies to victims in need.

Through the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont "Operation Sweet Treat" initiative, Tru-Pak has delivered more than 22,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to Give2theTroops.
